This place was amazing, I admit it seemed pricey but that's all. IT SEEMED PRICEY.
Once you realize that you get really amazing food included for breakfast, television, A/C, and a clean pool and environment you realize it is worth it. The rooms are large and clean, the parking situation is safe and removed, it's far enough back you don't hear traffic much. Then there's the view, it was amazing, forest, and ocean, while you have a reclining chair on the front of your room all to take it in with.
Not only was all of the above great, but there is staff that is around cleaning the area a lot. Making sure there aren't any bugs or snakes encroaching on your stop.
Also when considering the price there's free internet, did I mention that. Essentially you're getting everything for free at this place that many other places either don't have or cost you 10 USD a day to have.
I would stay here again in a heartbeat, because of everything written above, and the owner. He was amazing, engaging, funny, and cared about your experience not only at his establishment but in Costa Rica and he is an ex-pat.

We enjoyed our stay here. Arriving very late the first night, the owner was gracious to let us in after check-in closing time. And throughout our stay, we received personalized attention, more like a bed and breakfast. The rooms are very clean and brand new. Hot water in the shower was consistent. Internet and cable worked great while we were there. We were asked our choice for breakfast. The location is a little out of downtown, but really not too far. The hotel has a great view of the landscape- a hillside with tropical flowers, monkeys, birds, and ocean in the distance. Nice value for the price.

This hotel is an affordable hidden gem - only a quick drive away from the beach. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the bathrooms have great water pressure! The breakfast, which is included, is delicious. There is also a nice outdoor pool at the hotel, which is very well maintained. The owner and staff were very welcoming and ensured that we were happy with the amenities. The owner also asks for clients’ input on ways to improve, which I found to be quite thoughtful.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to those wanting to visit this area!response / report this review -

Hotel is new and there are a few things still missing but it's a work in progress. Owner is very nice and listens to your input and requests to add onto the hotel for a better experience. The mirrors in the bathroom are a bit small and high however there is another mirror located outside the bathroom. Internet has a mediocre speed. The hotel is also clean. The breakfast was very good.

Great Hotel at a great price. It is brand new and very clean.The service was excellent. Breakfast is not to be missed. I highly recommend staying here. The owner was very helpful on planning activities. Great Views also.

The girl at the reception it’s not friendly, has a very arrogant attitude
This “hotel” is not women friendly, no mirrors, no hairdryer
They never cleaned our room and never provided fresh towels
The internet was very slow
