Perfect pizza place to stop at with the family. My 2 year old son loved it. They speak English and the menu is in English too. Highly recommend.

Awesome service and some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had at an insanely low price for the quality and presentation. Caprese salad was amazing, highly approved by my Italian girlfriend. Pizza on the wood fire stove and pasta was also delicious. Great views of the Arenal volcano also. Highly recommended

Good food in a beautiful building. The service is very good and we really enjoyed our meal. I believe the pizzas out perform the pastas though

Wonderful service, experience and meal. Excellent meal; we had pizza and the house special of tenderloin and shrimp. Would come back in a heart beat. The staff speak excellent English and the views of the mountian are excellent if you get here to watch the sunset over dinner. 10 out of 5 stars. Everything about this place is amazing. Thank you for the great experience.

A Typical Italian restaurant in town. Traditional Oven baked Pizza is so different to the cheap imitations. Especially the desert Frame banana ice-cream is a cabaret entertainment.

Awesome food. Decent prices. Love this place. We ate here twice on our trip. They were a bit backed up once when we dropped in so they gave us a free green drink of some sort while we waited. Very friendly staff.

Quaint establishment with a friendly owner and delicious food. A decent walk from the main drag but nothing too difficult. The pizza was amazing, legitimate Italian wood-oven pizza, and the ravioli dish we ordered was sublime. A little pricey when traveling on a budget but relatively normal for the area and nothing exorbitant. Would highly recommend.

Great, quick pizza. Well made; well cooked - simple yet spot on. If the weather is clear, you can see the volcano looking down on you from the front. Way too expensive though $41 for one large pizza and two bottles of water - not cool.

Good pizza and great atmosphere. We were looking for some authentic wood fired pizza and we were pleasantly surprised. Decent prices as well. Pizza, beer and dessert for $35 US. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a pizza place in La Fortuna.

Pizza was blandwent twice to give them a chance. Just not as good as I would have hoped. The restaurant itself is beautiful though

The sangria was a little sweet for me, but was great nonetheless. My friend and I shared a pitcher and were very happy when we left. The tomato for the appetizer wasn't quite ripe, but the pizza was pretty good.

Pleasantly surprised by this authentic Italian gem in this part of Costa Rica. Welcoming staff, nice menu with decent drink and wine selection. As mentioned by others, fantastic brick oven pizza and home made pastas separate this restaurant from others. Reasonably priced, nice ambiance. Great coffee, desert and after dinner drinks as well.

Delicious home made pasta, wood fire pizza, decent wine selection. Beautiful atmosphere, kind, observant host/wait staff, and clean restrooms. Gorgeous teak ceilings and flooring. Highly recommend fettuccine verdi.

I could not say enough of an amazing service that everyone provides here at Mediterranean Cafe in Fortuna and the most important thing for me was that they are willing to correct their mistakes and make it better.
I love their food and I would come back over and over.

The restaurant is a bit remote (by walk) from downtown but still easy to go. I enjoyed very much the wooden pizza which was excellent. The restaurant by itself is very nice and there is a nice view. The only bad point is the road just in front of it which is noisy. But really great place and food

Best pizza and view on the volcano in Costa Rica, hands down! Wood oven, thin crust, flavourful - just like in Italy. Home made pasta, fresh ingredients, yummy sea bass. Good selection of wine. Professional service! You can't miss it when in La Fortuna.
