Amazing views and super cute cabins! The bird life in the area is fantastic. We racked up over 35 species between sitting outside the hotel and driving to and fro without much effort at all.

The TV has absolutely no English channels and the bathrooms in the cabins are very small and outdated. Additionally, the pillows are horrific. They are incredibly lumpy and flat - I strongly recommend bringing your own.

The included breakfast is okay and the casados are good. I recommend wandering into the local sodas for some excellent local food.

Amazing view, the food was good/okay. It's a bit tough to come by Castillo but worth it. Perfect for lunch after a hike at the 1968 Arenal trail.

Located on a hill, this is a nice hotel. Rooms are clean. If you stay here go for an early morning walk and you can see many birds. Black vulture, crested Guan, Mag pie jay and kiskadee are some of the few birds I saw. There is a restaurant in the hotel premises and it includes breakfasts for hotel guests.

Incredibly beautiful views from the room! Staff was great and so helpful when we had trouble with the hotel we were supposed to stay at. Rooms are nice. Bed is comfy. We loved it!

Laid back, comfortable cabinas. Nothing fancy, but wonderful staff that tried to accomodate which ever way they could. Restaurant provided free breakfast and also served lunch and dinner daily. Good view of the lake and, of course, Volcán Arenal.
