One of the most beautiful places I have had the fortune to visit! As only park employees have access, a few friends and I went with two rangers to spend the night. The trail starts near Quebrada Grande and is a rough one hour off-road trek through the dry tropical forest up to the parking area. From there it's about a 30 hike up to the station. You must bring everything with you and be careful because there are MANY TICKS! The sunsets over the Santa Elena Peninsula and the vibrant colors it paints nearby Volcán Orosà are stunning and very much worth the visit.
