Clean, quiet, and comfortable. Free breakfast in the morning was delicious, and location is perfect - a 2 minute walk from town.

Had a bunk bed as a couple, not so comfortable. The room was quite noisy as windows don’t close well and we were in the basement, and very cold, sheets smelled a little. Breakfast was good, value for money is OK.

Stayed two nights at this quaint hostel. It's at the bottom of a mountain road next to a stream - very cozy and quiet. The staff is extremely helpful in both English and Spanish with planning trips and activities around the Monte Verde area. Wi-fi is adequate and there is a good portioned daily breakfast (omlet, fruit, bacon and toast.) As a fun little extra they have their own coffee plantation nearby so there is all day got coffee for free (plus you can reserve a tour of the farm in Spanish only). We had a stuck door when we arrived and within 5 minutes it was repaired and they put our shoes on the roof to dry so the service was really excellent. Rooms we cozy and cabin like with wooden walls. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Freddie and Marlenny are fantastic and welcoming hosts! We had a lovely stay in a double room with an ensuite bathroom which was clean and comfortable for a three night stay. Freddie and Marlenny were very helpful for booking excursions with local companies including zip lining and night tours. Breakfast is good - I would recommend the pancake option! Lovely people, very comfortable and a safe hostel.

Ontzettend lief en behulpzaam personeel, ze hebben ons helemaal geholpen met het uitstippelen van de reis naar Drake Bay. Ze kunnen ook alle excursies voor je regelen. Kamers zijn relaxed, dicht bij het centrum en het lekkere restaurantje 'TacoTaco' (aanrader!). Ontbijt bij het hotel is ook lekker en ze hebben wasservice, ook fijn.

Buon rapporto qualità prezzo, camere abbastanza piccole, a quanto pare solo alcune, molto piacevole la sala comune / cucina. Personale simpatico ma non molto disponibile, attenzione al cambio euro o dollaro / colones perché possono fregare

Convenient location and you might catch a sloth on the electric lines. Our private room was tiny though and not a part of the rest of the building so it didn't feel as secure. Rooms upstairs were much nicer.
