  Very warm and lovely host, early morning you will get motherly breakfast with fresh baked bread, eggs and fruits etc. Which is included in with the stay. A unified kitchen with all the basic cookware ready to use. I stayed there for a week and its just 20 steps from one of the most beautiful beach in the world, the water is crystal clear and you can see through. The ambiance is very relaxing and the place is very safe to even work at at time I was working at night till 2 am.

  Sehr schöne Unterkunft! Ruhige Lage aber nicht weit vom Zentrum entfernt.
  Super leckeres Frühstück mit selbstgemachten Brot, Spiegelei und frischem Obst.

  Fair enough for one or two nights.
  Pros:
  Near from everything in Puerto Viejo downtown (restaurants, coffee shops and grocery markets)
  
  Cons:
  Don't accept credit/debt card.
  Towels are not well cleaned, after the first use it had a odd smell.
  I quite noisy, since you can hear the people walking outside.

  Lugar bien ubicado con instalaciones claramente mejorables. Atención al cliente muy justa. La ducha tuvo que ser con agua fría, el calentador hacía corto circuito y no quería electrocutarme 😢

  Las personas que atendían no eran hospitalarias. El lugar debe haber sido muy lindo pero necesita.un urgente mantenimiento de sábanas, toallas y cortinas. La dueña y su perro son muy ruidosos y molestan al descanso en la noche y temprano por la mañana. El dormitorio tenía mucho olor a humedad.
  No lo recomiendo.

  Sehr nettes Hostel, tolle Lage und super Service! Ist halt ein deutsch geführtes Haus ;). Zimmer teilweise mit eigenem Kühlschrank, sonst sind zwei große in der Gemeinschaftsküche.
