The owner is like an uncle taking you around his estate! Many orchids and more to see on this tour - take in the parrots and stay for lunch or coffee!

Just a few of the lovely Orchids. Our second time there. Came late April last year, not so many flowers. February, March much better.

Excellent place to relax and enjoy the nature. Bring your own mat and fall sleep under the trees. Great food and fine service. Also you can buy exotic orchids, not to be found anywhere else. They even have a super cute kitty cat.

The staff is great, the location is an adventure. It's a bit run down could use some spricing up. Cafe area is lovely. Will visit again and taken visitors there.

An absolutely gorgeous Garden. The grounds are beautiful and well kept with some well kept wild birds around the property. There is an beautiful restaurant when one can sit and relax and have some really good food. The owners are always on the property and willing to answer questions and explain orchid care. I highly recommend this place for families an anyone wanting to know more about orchids or just have a relaxing afternoon.

Gorgeous place to spend an afternoon. One of the birds is quite talkative and they are all beautiful. This place is so peaceful and the restaurant inside is yummy with friendly, fast service.

Un lugar tranquilo, bonito, limpio. Ideal para un paseo cerca de la ciudad. Cultivan, muestran y venden orquídeas además de mantener algunas aves. Me gustó mucho, lleve una orquídea a mi casa.

Great gardens to visit! More than gardens actually as there is a bit of bird life to take in too. The grounds are spectacular and would imagine they would be even more vibrant (and greener) during the rainy season. There was some nice stuff in the greenhouses but not too much in flower. There is one greenhouse display area that is full of blooms and colours. There are cen net and gravel trails to follow and most of the different flora and fauna have Spanish and English signage indicating what they are.
There is also a cafeteria with inside and outside seating.
A great way to kill a couple hours while at the same tome taking in some beauty!
    Admission: $12USD/6,000 Colones
