  We loved the beautiful rainforest setting and our room was large and clean. The staff was kind and accommodating. They let us check in to our room very early. We had a relaxing time on the beach and in the water and the walk to Manzanillo was not too far for us. We had only one meal (dinner) during our stay that was not very good--not sure if we ordered wrong or if it was an off night for the kitchen. It is a beautiful and large bar and restaurant though, perfect for large groups and families where people can play pool or chess.

  Disappointed as the first time I visited there had a great experience. Common area rest rooms were just filthy. Bed sheets were stained poor water pressure in the shower. Other than that place was wonderful. Food was good. Owners are really warm and friendly. Hope they can turn things around.

  Super nice natural experience, we even had the resident 2toe sloth on a tree next to our room the first day we came in. Yesterday we had a massive rainfall and the noise that the rain makes on the roof just cuddles you to sleep. Come here if you want to experience the beauty of the jungle without the hurdles of camping. This is not a luxury hotel, you should not come here if you don't like bugs and wild animals. This is the middle ground between camping and a hotel.

  Avoid this place!
  It's not like on the pictures, maybe they were taken 10 years ago.
  Shaby, dirty and bad service. But expansive.
  We have left this place after 2 nights, even the third night was paid already.
  The only plus is the beautiful nature and beach (no swimming possible).

  Quiet and peaceful ( except for the howler monkeys at dawn. A short walk to the beach and shopping & dining 1 mile south on the beach.

  Staff was wonderfully attentive. The accommodations were much better than expected, considering the austere/pristine setting.
  A nature lover's epic refuge from any rat race.
