I have never said this about a main stream car hire company before but the service from Alamo in Cocos was first rate. We were staying in the Riu Palace where the only choice of car hire was Thifty (which I was not encouraged to try due to the very poor reviews), but luckily met Gabriel at Alamo on a trip into town. He couldn’t have been more helpful, sourcing the 4x4 car we wanted, giving us a very fair deal including free SatNav, delivering and collecting the car from our hotel. All worked out perfectly with no hidden extras or hassle.

Excellent service, Henry there was super helpful and very professional. Can’t fault anything he has arranged, time keeping, the quality of the car, explanation etc.

Excellent service. Clear pricing, no hidden fees. Reps don't push you to buy insurance. Gabriel left me his biz card with both his office and cell numbers. Although I needn't call for assistance it's comforting to know it's not just an 1-800 number.

Best rental car experience in Playas del Coco. Everyone else (Fox, Budget) was scammy as you know what. Nicest rental car experience I've had internationally or otherwise. Thank you, Alamo!
