Best location (2min walking to the beach), amazing people and great instructors. I had the best time in Playa Guiones and even stayed there longer than planned because of them. Steven and Marcelo helped me transition into a smaller board and were always there for us! Definitely recommend this place and I will be back for more surfing!!

The guys at Agua Tibia are very professional and I can easily recommend their services. My girlfriend and I had an excellent class with one of the intructors, one that was far better than the classes we did with other instructors. We learned many important things that made our surfing better since.
The location of the school is great too, it is a short walk from a less crowded part of the beach.

So much fun! My mom and I wanted to try surfing and Danny had us up on the first day. We loved it so much we even talked about extending our trip just to fit in more lessons with Danny. I would highly recommend Agua Tibia to anyone who is looking to improve or learn how to surf.

I can't say enough great things about the guys at Aqua Tibia!! My three girls and I had never surfed before, and Steven and Danny had us up on our boards the first day!! We were originally only planning to give it a try, but ended up signing up for more lessons as soon as we got back to the shop! My husband, who surfed in college, joined us the next day. Steven and Danny were both very knowledgeable, considerate, patient, and made the entire experience so much fun!! "Best part of the lesson" is the amazing fresh, cold coconut water they treat you to at the end :-)
All in all, we would highly recommend Aqua Tibia and the great crew they have there!! They definitely made our trip a lot more eventful and fun!! We will be back :)

Adrian & the rest of the guys are great, friendly, helpful, encouraging. Got our 3 girls (ages 9 - 15) stoked to surf. Helped give pointers to us old folk as well. We rented boards, boogie boards, & did lessons. Highly recommended.

We took our family on vacation to Nosara this year and absolutely loved our time there. And the guys at Agua Tibia were instrumental in taking our time there over the top!! We hit the ground running when we arrived on Saturday - first stop, renting surf boards for the whole crew. Adrian, Andrew, and Diego were all very knowledgable and outfitted each of us with the appropriate boards for our skill levels. We took the boards out to test the waves and get some of the rust out :-). On Monday we were back in the shop setting up lessons for Tuesday! Out in the water, it is very clear that Adrian and Diego really love what they are doing! They spent a lot of time with each of us, giving very good instruction and immediate feedback so that we could make corrections for the next wave.
And that wasn't all! The icing on the cake for the week was a trip out to a local waterfall for some swimming and jumping from the cliffs into the pools below - all courtesy of Adrian! What a great time! We will definitely be going back to Nosara soon and will be renting our boards from Agua Tibia again!
