  Medellín's premier Theatre - worth a visit! I went to Teatro Metropolitano for the first time last night for a dance performance by a French dance company. The theatre is a good size, with around 1,600 seats. There is a small bar in the lobby if you'd like to come early and enjoy a drink. One thing that really struck me about the night was that there was not an empty seat in the house; and the energy was very up-lifting. In much of the world it is very difficult to sell dance, and you rarely see a full house, especially one this enthusiastic. The theater boasts a great variety of music, dance and more. This is the place to be to see the highest quality local and international performing art!
