Good drinks. Packed beach chairs

Nice (charmingly clumsy) staff, fairly priced cocktails, okay beds, working wifi, not much pushy sellers on the beach. Food basic but allright (sometimes actually what you ordered!). Free boats to Cartagena three times a day (09:00, 11:00, and 16:00-ish) from the beach behind the hospital near the Hilton. Wear flipflops to the boat because you'll get wet getting on the boat from the beach. Boat rides are a bit adventurous but you'll live. No shopping on the island except for people daring to enter the sketchy Tierra Bomba village. People there are probably allright but we were warned not to carry valuables in sight ymmv.
Pro tip: showers in Colombia are cold in the morning and warm in the afternoon (apparently they store the water on the roof under the sunshine).response / report this review -

It was a nice day away from the heat of the city. Staff try hard to keep everyone happy. Including providing lunch, serving drinks and keeping beach and lawns clean. The area is isolated though and we felt a bit trapped by the end of the day. It was a decent value for $ spent.

Buen lugar para descansar y pasar un buen rato lejos de los ruidos de la ciudad y a solo 10 min en lancha rapida. Lo malo es que el transporte no es por el muelle autorizado y el ancho de la playa es reducido.

Excelente Hotel a solo 10 minutos de Cartagena en lancha. Ofrece PASADIAS (Day Tours) los 365 días del año.
Actividades náuticas como son el:
Kayak, Snorkel y Buceo.
La playa está libre de vendedores ambulantes, perfecto para descansar.
