There are some great things about this hostel— clean, stairs to the top bunk, a yummy breakfast with homemade bread, and a good location. The one big complaint I have is the blasting of terrible music until midnight. The dorms surround the common area, and the bar plays music with a strong base, make my to hard to sleep. There were a total of 3 people quietly chatting at the bar on a Sunday night, and for some reason the music still needed to be loud. I asked the reception if they sold ear plugs and they said no. He then offered to ask the barman to turn the music down, and they turned it down slightly. Do not expect to sleep well until after midnight.

Staffs were decently friendly but pushed quite hard on selling us the package for Tayrona Park. The room (2 storied private) we stayed in had a lingering smoke smell to it, which was not pleasant for the first night. The shower was somewhat broken. Breakfast was good (scrambled eggs with 2 roasts, fruits, and juice). The room was somewhat noisy with a high-pitch machine voice being audible at random times during the night.

Very nice Hostel in the middle of santa Marta
Tops: Very cute lounge and bar, Not expensive, nice beds, Awesome breakfast. Nice young environment, nice Tours directly from the hostel
Tips: The bathroom furniture can be improved. Also make sure you clarify about when they will be cleaning your room.response / report this review -

It's a pretty hostel, but keep in mind you've to pay for everything, including drinking water from a filter and not just water bottles. Laundry is 8000+ a pound which gets really expensive if you've jeans.

No working toilets in the familiar room. Share bathroom were absolutely nightmare. Music from the hostel was very loudy and stoped at 1am instead of midnight as it was mentioned.

It's a great hostel with a social pool and great art work in their walls. They have excellent prices and it's usually crowded. On the other hand they have few beds.

Amazing hostel, one of the best I have stayed in. It is very clean well set up and great bar and food. Would definitely stay here again.

Ich war von Anfang an verliebt! Schon von außen ist das hostel total süß. Von innen genauso. Bar mit günstiger happy hour, pool indem man seine Cocktails schlürfen kann, die Zimmer sehen toll aus und die Betten sind bequem.

Best Hostel, felt like home for us.

This is a nice hostel right in the centre of Santa Marta. It has decent WiFi, a small pool, kitchen, TV with cable and PS4 and an attached bar.
I stayed in the 16 bed dorm, the room used to be a bar I believe so has funky lighting which is a bit dark but it there is awesome AC and each bed has a socket and a light.
I did the lost city trek and was able to store my bag for 5000. You also get a 30% discount on laundry if you do a trek like the lost city.
It's not a huge party hostel but good value if you have a few days in Santa Martaresponse / report this review
