Lovely place. Service was excellent, food was amazing, prices were great for such a nice meal. The inside is more a little courtyard so it still has an open cieling, making the setting is great as well. There was a lot of sea food in Cartagena, and this was one of the better ones.

Absolutely amazing food! And coming from New York where we have expectations for food and service, it definitely exceeded our expectations. I’m fun of seafood and everything was so delicious. The stuff is very nice and attentive!

Great find while walking around the beautiful city. Loved the seafood soup and the fish in seafood sauce. The only downside was the alcoholic drinks are not filled to the top, but they were ok. Recommend the green mango smoothie with or without alcohol!

Great food and atmosphere on Plaza San Diego
This is a cozy and beautiful restaurant. Juan created it almost 20 years ago. There is the main restaurant and directly next to it is a pizza and pasta place which is also owned by Juan. At the main restaurant, we shared a wonderful sea bass as well as a great shrimp dish with a corn souffle. And definitely order the coconut rice as a side dish. We had the opportunity to meet the owner, Juan, who took us on a quick tour of his next door restaurant after we had eaten. The pizza and pasta looked amazing.response / report this review -

Very good seafood restaurant with excellent service, it might be necessary to wait until a table is available but it's definite worthwhile, restaurant atmosphere amazing too, live band with various guest singers (at least during my stay) an inside well with water flow to create a cool temperature, prices even higher but absolute reasonable

The pizza was a thin crust just the way I like it. But the was no tomato sauce, not enough cheese and the tomatoes on top were ripe. The service was good. I didn't like the wine and then they changed.

It's important to make a reservation because is a crowded restaurant. They have two places in the same Plaza. a pizzeria and a restaurant. Both are great and very trendy spots. The restaurant have live music inside the local. The pizzeria is outside and you can enjoy different musicians that play on the Plaza. Pizzas are amazing.

Best pizza in the area. Really cool plaza outside that makes outdoor eating and just watching everything around very fun. I was here during a festival and there was live music, couldn't have asked for anything more.

Arrived in the historical district from NYC (JetBlue, the no food airline) just in time for lunch. A bottle of chilled white and some three smallish plates. A mixed salad, fried fish and this amazing shrimps in garlicky watery sauce with angel hair pasta.
Very satisfying and off to a promising food experience in stunning colonial Cartagena. Carthage!response / report this review
