It was ok. Make sure you don't use the phone unless you want to pay extra. All said and done walked out of there paying 250$ for 4 days at 35$ a night and thats with using the phone and taking stuff from the mini fridge.

Very good location. Comfortable bed. Great hot shower. Attitude of staff was extremely disappointing. Insisted on a 9% visa card surcharge. This place is only interested in profit. When I questioned this I was made to feel unwelcome. The behaviour of staff was pretty horrible.
I have now discovered you can do a lot better for $50 per night if you look one block north. My photo shows the breakfast I made for us in the room because we did not want food poisoning again.response / report this review -

HOTEL COMODO UBICADO CERCA DE LA UPB. EL SEÑOR JUAN CAMILO DE RECEPCION GRAN CALIDAD HUMANA, LA NIÑA QUE SERVIA EN EL RESTAURANTE MUY FORMAL. DEMASIADO INCOMODA LA SITUACION SI NO ESTAS A LA 1PM EN LA RECEPCION HACIENDO EL CHECK OUT YA QUE NO DEJAN DE LLAMAR AL CUARTO.
LES FALTA MUCHA CALIDEZ CON EL HUESPED.

Great location. Incredible value. Hotel is on a side street that is a little run down but a 5 minute walk puts you in the heart of the city. Hotel is amazingly trendy. In suite hot tubs decent views. Hot tub on roof. Staff were great.

Las instalaciones están muy bien cuidadas, el desalluno siempre tiene buen sabor y es muy bueno (a pesar de no ser variado) pero lo. Mejor del lugar es la excepcional atención, cuentan con un personal cálido, amable y siempre dispuesto a ayudar.

Excelente hotel. Buen precio. Excelente ubicación. Las habitaciones son sencillas, closet, cama, escritorio, televisor, refrigerador pequeño, ducha, caja de seguridad. Personal muy amable y servicial. Solo sirven desayuno, pero hay muchas opciones para comer cerca. Muy recomendado.

The room (401) was incredibly noisy but when we asked the staff about it, they just said "oh yes, you have the water heater above which does this, there's nothing we can do" Thanks for the help! We had to put earplugs and take pills to be able to sleep! When we asked for another room, they said we could take it but refused us a visit just to ensure that it was less noisy, how can any professional staff refuse a client a room's visit? If you want more, I could add that if you are still very hungry after the tiny breakfast, they'll charge you if you want a bit more of the scrambled eggs. And how about forcing you to pay upon your arrival (after 23h of traveling + 6h of jetlag) even though you tell them you haven't had time to get some money and would rather pay cash (and they had a credit card guarantee!). Never has a hotel staff tried so little to help its customers !
Apart from that, the rooms are clean, beds are good, and the location as well, but that was far from enough to compensate for this terrible experience of people who don't give a damn whether you can sleep or not while in their hotelresponse / report this review -
