Good hôtel. The food is ok, the breakfast was better than the diner. It was a bit noisy, but there was an event ans Thetford warned us when we checked in. We enjoyed ours stay anyway.

Awesome clean historic local building that has been maintained extraordinarily well. The building has been modernized with all the other amenities you expect with a hotel these days along with fast reliable WiFi. The grounds and pool are well kept with plenty of sunny and shady spots to lounge around.
There is an on-site restaurant that has some of the best food I had while in Colombia. All the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful to provide an easy stress free stay.
Hotel Genova Centro is a place I would strongly recommend to any of my friends and family if they were visiting Barranquilla.response / report this review -

Stayed here during the Carnaval and really enjoyed it. Staff was incredibly friendly and food was great and reasonably priced. Your also not going to find a better swimming pool and outdoor area in Barranquilla. Its nice hidden gem of a hotel with an interesting history. I would definitely stay at the Hotel Genova again.
