Very nice place in old town. Nice rooftop pool. Great breakfast buffet. One challenge: do not get a room overlooking courtyard restaurant noise travels up and resonates with the space and retractable roof I measured 80db at 11pm on Wed behind the close room door on fourth floor

Absolutely beautiful hotel. We had to be moved as our suite shared a bank of windows that looked into the courtyard. They serve dinner late so it was loud and we were moved to a different wing and had no other problems. The pool on the roof is sensational and highly recommended! We will for sure be back!

My wife and I recently had our wedding reception at The Charleston. The entire experience exceeded our expectations in every way imaginable. First, Karen worked with my wife on every detail and was extremely accommodating, was professional, and did everything to a level beyond what we had hoped for. The person service was unlike anything we’d ever experienced before. The food was fantastic, the rooms were impeccable and there were many details we did not expect but were pleasantly surprised by. Overall, the terrace view at night made for the perfect reception for a wedding that everyone highly complimented. We won’t hesitate to come back and appreciate all of the staff who worked with us on such an incredible wedding reception. Thank you!

Beautiful rooms and a very chic hotel. From the lobby and the central patio to the rooms this is one of Cartagenas top hotels. My room was soberly and elegantly decorated. I spend my wedding night there and they brought champagne, strawberries and rose petals to the room. Great hotel

Beautiful hotel in the historical walled city of Cartagena. Panaramic views of the gulf of Mexico and both old and new parts of the city. Excellent night life as well.

Pure luxury in a gorgeous, central setting. Terrific food/buffet breakfast included, unparalleled rooftop pool with views of the ocean, harbor, and city, and a small kitchen for poolside food and drinks. Strong AC and wifi. Best location - near museums, historical plazas, the pier for trips to Rosario Islands, nightlife, and food, and entry to the old wall. Pretty good English-speaking front desk but less so with other hotel employees (restaurant, rooftop, room service). Highly recommend.

Turning down interested Customers right at the door especially Bryan at Entrance should get a good training in howto handle potential guests who like to get to know the hotel better. Stayed in many excellent hotels like Kempinski this one will for sure not be amongst them.

Great service from all staff, location is ideal. Close to shops, party life, ocean view. Incredible pool on the top floor with views of the whole city. If you can spend the extra bucks, this hotel is must!
