We had a lovely stay! Hostess Whitney was super awesome and friendly. The view is awesome, amenities are great, food is lovely. Advice: just use Google Translate, as the staff only speaks Spanish :) - it’s pretty helpful if you’re searching for words.

Great place but poor service
I stayed several times in this hotel and the adjacent "Finca Barlovento". Both are wonderful places which would deserve top-notch service.
Unfortunately, there seems to have some internal miscommunication or conflicts between various stakeholders managing those hotels which may deeply affect the experience before and during the stay for some of us.
More specifically, be careful with the reservations as there are various websites and companies marketing and coordinating reservations in both places, which creates some confusion between official websites, travel agencie, hotel managers, etc some of them may book you in one hotel when you requested the other one!response / report this review -

Se llama hotel casaporque asi es como te hacen sentir, como en tu casa. La habitacion es super amplia, execelntes vistas al mar o montaña. Ideal para apreciar la creacion y relajarse

This place offers a great view with some downsides. There are no shops or kioscos there so bring some supplies because the meals (only breakfast and lunch) are specifically cooked for you, you order your dinner in advance and there is no lunch or menu to order from if you have just arrived hungry during the day. You will share the one breakfast and dinner table sitting close right next to other guests which might not be for everyone. The rooms are ok, nothing spectacular, and the wifi worked fine.
I think it has one upside and that's the location and view. In total I find it overpriced and the unusual dinner "ritual" might not be for every tired and hungry traveller.response / report this review -

Un hôtel à 5 étoiles ? Cela est juste une blague. J'ai effectué un sejour dans une dizaine d'hôtel 5 étoiles je n'ai jamais vu un hôtel aussi médiocre que celui-ci ! La vue est magnifique rien à redire par contre la propreté de la piscine laisse à désirer, aucune activité n'est proposée à l'hôtel, aucun personnel ne parle anglais. NOBODY SPEAK ENGLISH.

Hermosa vista, instalaciones bien cuidadas, cómodo, buena atención. Punto a mejorar, los desayunos y comidas que ofrecen, suelen ser escasos para una persona de buen comer. El lugar es hermoso, muy bonito para descansar y pasear para alguien que le guste la naturaleza.

Totally overpriced. Service if awful. Things didn't work (light, toilet flushing) and rooms were dirty. We asked to talk with the manager several times but never got to talk to him. Nevertheless I have to admit that the location is beautiful
