Hostal maravilloso, con bellísima decoración, en pleno centro de la ciudad

Es un Hostal rústico. Tiene amplias estancias y sus habitaciones son comodas. Te ofrecen WiFi pero no tiene mucho alcance en las habitaciones. No hay agua caliente. Lo considero un hostal para pasar la noche porque no vi a muchos huéspedes. 2 cosas que no me gustaron fue la zona, de noche es peligroso dado que está en la zona Centro de Medellín. Lo bueno es que está cerca del metro Parque Berrío. Enfrente del hostal hay un parque en donde abundan indigentes. Cerca hay bares y durante todo el día verás a mujeres en las esquinas. La 2da es que las chicas de recepción no son tan amables. Por lo que noté creo que producen miel y en las noches los mismos trabajadores que están en la fábrica (por así decirlo) te atienden y recibí mejor trato de ellos. Una de ellas muy amable. Me tocó un poco de ruido en la noche pero que venía de fuera. Si recorres de Plaza Botero hacia la próxima estación que es San Antonio verás tiendas de ropa, tenis, souvenirs, tiendas de tintes para el cabello y de esmaltes de todos colores, restaurantes típicos, farmacias y un sin fin de cosas a muy buen precio. Volví ahí para comprar souvenirs :)

This is one of the nicest hostels that I have stayed at over 5 months of travelling Latin America. The hostel (more like a hotel) is immaculately clean with beautiful wood floors, multiple lounge areas, a large well-equipped kitchen (2 sinks and large fridge), a upstairs patio terrace with BBQ, and a bar onsite. It is the only hostel in the downtown/central area of Medellin and the area around is rough as you will see. There are homeless people in the park across the street and many women looking for work on the street. The owner recommended taking a taxi after night, but during the day there is no problem. The homeless were moved to this area by the government "cleaning" out the rest of the city, so it's unfortunate for that the hostel has to deal with this. The hostel is about 6 blocks from where the airport bus leaves (behind the Nutibura Hotel).
I was only in town for 2 days, but the hostel host, John-Micheal, took me on an all-day tour of Medellin which was amazing. We saw the nearby markets, the Cathedral, Museo Casa de la Memoria, the metro, Communa 13, La Poblado, and "the hood". I saw drastically different sides of Medellin and learned about Medellin's history and how everything is connected. "The Hood" is John-Michael's official tour that he is building up in one of the poorer neighborhoods of Medellin. I'd highly recommend asking if you can go on this tour, because you get to see parts of Medellin that you would not typically see. John-Michael is a very charismatic host and he is happy to help you with anything questions or needs about what to do, where to visit, etc.
Some people will not like the hostel because of location, but I would recommend giving it a chance especially if you are in Medellin for a while and try to walk around with John Michael.

LLegamos a este lugar sin conocer Medellin y en este hospedaje nos recibieron muy bien, el personal muy atento y las camas muy cómodas, quizá la unica desventaja fue el precio, de resto agradable.

Agradable lugar de hospedaje con camas muy cómodas, excelente aseo de todas las áreas, servicio de lavandería y acceso libre a cocina con todos los implementos necesarios para ello.

Amazingly nice and clean hostel, one of the nicest I've stayed in and I've stayed in hundreds. It's only drawback is it's in a very dodgy area at night. Nicest hostel in one of the worst locations!? It's above a honey factory, highly recommended other than night time location.

Es un ambiente calido y muy agradable. Es super limpio, cuenta con una cocina comoda y bien equipada. Todo el staff es tan amable que provoca quedarse

I cannot imagine a better hostel.
Never in 12 years of travelling have I stayed in a place as organised, comfortable and welcoming as this one. The staff is very nice, the facilities are excellent, the location is central.
Everything was perfect and we stayed 3 nights instead of the intended 1.
