If you are in Medellin. You should definitely check out Hija Mia. This place has good vibes, fantastic coffee, great internet, and the waiters are very nice You can easily feel at home in Hija Mia.

If you like a New Zealand flat white then this is the place to come. Very cool New Zealand/Colombian cafe popular with Colombianos, travellers and expats. Shaun the co-owner is often there and happy to explain the roast of the week. They even use the ACME coffee cups, familiar to those who drink coffee in NZ.

Make great coffee and they roast their own beans! Shaun has new beans coming in all the time so I love trying out what's the latest Colombian flavours. My local hangout. Shame there aren't any vegan snacks but maybe that's not too bad :D Happy to make do with Tilín chocs for now.

Fantastic coffee. I was a little sad that they ran out of the stuff I was supposed to be picking up, but they had it delivered to me, so it all worked out. Great service and the best coffee I've ever had.

This is a beautiful and modern place run by a guy from New Zealand. They have what I have found to be the best coffee in Medellin (both espresso varieties and normal drip methods as well). I haven't been to every cafe here yet, but this is a really remarkable place with remarkable coffee.
