The reviews did not make me hesitant to go but it just made me more cautious. After reading about the person whose car got broken in. I took an Uber and when we got to the top there was police officers there as well as taxis. I Ask the driver to wait so I can get a ride back down. After taking a walk up towards the statue they were also police officers up there .I do not by any circumstances recommend walking because it's very far as well as biking because the road is very narrow and it can be dangerous. The views are very nice the Statue is okay . The views are similar to the Monserrate. There are places we can buy gifts as well as get something to eat. But the food and the gifts are relatively normal nothing exceptional. Also I went in the morning so going up the road it was not that busy just a lot of bikers on the road. But going down the traffic begin to pick up but still not that bad of a ridev. I could just imagine if you going in the afternoon it might be a little hectic.

Prepare for a very dangerous situation. Very very unsafe. Beware. We drove up the mountain with an uber and the taxi driver made to the top and said it wasn't safe nor a good idea and would not let us out of the car. Very thankful for him. The situation could ended up very differently than we had in mind.

Beautiful hike with tons of birds, nature and some waterfalls!!! It is said is very dangerous to walk there because of burglars. Make sure police is watching the trail before going there.
