Seriously, why has only one person mentioned the noise in all of the reviews! There's a nightclub practically downstairs blaring music all weekend! Misery

Great hostel for the price. 35,000 pesos or about $12 a night. They have big lockers and it has locks built in. Hot breakfast made to order is included. In the shared rooms, there is great Wi-Fi, but the rooms away from the front did not have access. There is hot water, but it was only lukewarm at best. However, other hostels we have been in during our trip to Colombia did not have hot water, so it was a big upgrade. There was travelers from all over the world. Restrooms were also clean. I would recommend this for budget travel.

A really cute hostel right in the center of the city. Breakfast was included and it was delicious. Our room was very big (private room with two full beds and a private bathroom). Very clean and has a cute little rooftop patio. Aesthetically pleasing but could be prettier.

The hangout spaces and private rooms are quite large here. The bathrooms are cleaned daily, and the kitchen is well-equipped and quite large. The hostel workers helped recommend us where to eat and visit in the city multiple times, and were quite friendly. We got one of our best recommendations of the trip from the owner, who told us to visit Valle de la Samaria, which is another wax palm valley, much like Cocora Valley, but it is twice as large with almost no tourists. We are extremely happy we got this recommendation as visiting Salamina and the wax palm valley of La Samaria was one of the highlights of our time in Colombia (3+ months). Overall, this is one of the cleanest and best-equipped hostels that we have stayed at on our travels. Highly recommended.

We loved staying in this hostel.
We had a big well equipped kitchen, a nice terrace and a huge room with a really big and comfy bed.
The hosts are very friendly and help you with organizing your tours around manizales. You can ask them almost everything.

We had a wonderful stay here. The hostel itself is beautiful with lots of colors and high ceilings. The staff was super helpful and there was lots of communal space to chill and meet other travelers.

Excelente lugar, ninguna queja en absoluto. Estuve hospedado 12 dÃas y el lugar está muy bueno. Excelente atención, buena ubicación, todos los servicios. Golden frog se merece 5 estrellas !

Lugar limpio y recién inaugurado. El dueño es súper amable y accesible. Zona de juegos y billar. Si regreso a Manizales,e hospedarÃa ahà de nuevo.
