Lugar paradisíaco donde el relax se mezcla con la belleza. No tiene wifi, permanece roto hace varias semanas y las actividades se encuentran canceladas por un problema con el encargado. O sea que si vas a tomar sol y a pensar o dormir, va bien. Hay un pueblo cercano al que se llega caminando entre la selva que te vende todo tipo de alimentos y demás, que hace más alegre la comida. Hay agua potable. No hay playas lindas como en Barú, hay corales y algas en todas las que fuimos. Es un lugar seguro para caminar perdido entre la selva, porque la explicación es algo simple, pero en la realidad no lo es. No tiene heladera, ni forma de refrigerar. Se llega tomando un bote en la Bodeguita, donde debes encontrar a Mary Cruz que es la agente de viaje, que te cobra 45.000 COP y el impuesto es de 15.000 COP. El viaje es algo tortuoso, ya que son lanchas de alta velocidad que golpean las olas sacudiendo a los viajeros hasta generar miedo si no sos de viajar en este tipo de embarcaciones. En esta época del año el mar está tan picado que la verdad que es pasarla muy mal en el mar a tan alta velocidad, desde ya que te bajas empapado y con los bolsos mojados.

Super fun location with a great host for this house, Alejandro. We had a private room with shared bathroom and everyone was very considerate of the others in the house. The fans and the mosquito net kept us comfortable at night. It's a great little refuge on the island, and a great way to escape! The instructions provided after you book are very informative and made sure we got the right boat there and didn't waste any time. A great way to visit the island to explore.

Fantástico lugar, la casa es cómoda y muy agradable. El ambiente general del hostal es muy bueno, excepto por el dueño que siempre está haciendo mala cara. Ubicado en una isla hermosa.

The golden frog is one of the 6 hostels of the resort the Paraiso Secreto. The hostel itself is a nice house with different accommodation possibilities. Daniel from the staff was very friendly and helpful.
The beds were fine and sleeping immersed in the nature was a great experience.

Tony and Danny were the nicest hosts ever! They made us feel like home from the first minute. Our local guide, Suar showed us the incredible enchanted lagoon and took us snorkeling where we learnt a lot about all the corals and fish. A lovely lobster dinner and a fun champeta party in the nearby village topped our experience on the island. I will definitely be back soon!
