I've come to one of the two locations every day since being in Cartagena - a bit touristy (mostly Americans there) but the coffee is great and they have some food and cocktails as well.

Excellent, good coffee, good pastry, the staff is amazing. The first time I went I did a coffee tasting and then I went back the next day for more, the time flies when you are there the atmosphere is so relaxing.

Very nice spot with delicious coffee/ Cappuccino. We had the avocado toast and the egg sandwich and it was also very tasty. The other dishes looked also very nice. It‘s worth to come here!

To provide a full view, I stayed in Cartagena for one week and came here seven times (verified by credit card statement.) The service is happy, friendly and attentive. The food in which I tried everything from the cupcakes, to the waffles to the steak and rice dishes were all tasty and great coffee pairings.
And the coffee. Perfect. When you go you can order the Chemex or Syphon method it turns into a little demonstration/show at your table.
The last day I was there they made sure to get me out in time for the airport and had a violinist playing as entertainment.
While it may be the most expensive cup of coffee you enjoy in Cartagena, it will be the best cup of coffee you enjoy in Cartagena.response / report this review -

Amazing breakfast spot. Coffee is beyond anything else, and the food is delicious. Service with a smile, and very good English to get you by. Check out their Instagram to see some of the delicious meals before ordering definitely did not disappoint! Sit at the bar to watch the magic happen.

This place is incredible. It is owned by a Colombian, sources all Colombian coffee, and unexpectedly has incredible food. The coffee is very high quality and made with care. As a former barista in the specialty coffee industry, I was so pleased to see a cafe in a coffee producing country take such pride in its brewing. So often the good stuff is exported, but here is truly an example of artisanal preparation. Also, if you're hungry, high recommendation of the blueberry, arugula, mozzarella grilled cheese. Who knew! Also, very accommodating menu for a vegetarian traveler.

Dope coffee shop. Great iced latte.
Also the espresso comes with a little cup of water with a mint leaf to cleanse the pallet.

THE BEST coffee spot in the city, i tried 6-7 other places that was recommended but no one come even close to the taste/quality/vibe of this coffee shop!! A must try for simply the best double espresso i ever had in my life!

I was Just there. Nice place. Coffee was ok, not great. Unfortunately I ordered a normal latte. The waitress was nog paying Attention to my order And gave me the wrong thing. I did not notice because it look a like. Till I got the check And they charged me more than they should. I said something but they did not want to change it. So I had to pay the full amount. Its nog about the money but about the principal. If they admit there mistake change it than to keep your Customer happy. So not Happy with the service.

Absolutely loved my experience at Epoca. Out of hundreds of coffee shops that I've visited in over 25 countries, I must say that Epoca is definitely one of my favorites. The food and coffee is to die for. You will not be disappointed
