Beautiful place in the old City. Very good stuff. Restaurant offer good menu and food is delicius. I usually do not take big breakfast but continental breakfast in this great place could be at least a little bit richer, adding for example a fruit.

Beautiful historic boutique hotel. Service was exquisite and personalized. Everyone knew our names. The hotel is positioned perfectly in the colonial zone of the walled city and displays all the expected decor of its respective bygone age. When you walk through the 10 foot door buttressed with steel you feel like you have step through a portal of time. On many occasions I felt like a Spanish Count and was treated as such.

DONT USE THEM! WE RESERVED A WEDDING PARTY. THEY KEPT A HEFTY DEPOSIT EVEN THOUGH THE CONTRACT SAID WE CAN CANCEL (covid). THERE NOT REPUTABLE. RUINED OUR WEDDING EXPERIENCE!

We went there for dinner. Food and drinks were very good. Staff was nice and helpful. The place is unique and we also enjoyed life music.

We went for a wedding reception and the hotel is beautiful with a gorgeous ambiance. The food was amazing and the staff was very good. It was very hot on the dance floor unfortunately because it was small and sort of closed in.

Location is mediocre at best. The hotel is not as marketed online (as confirmed by the manager) and the rooms are much smaller than you would think, especially the Junior Suites - promo photos show the largest room only. Both the manager & check-In staff were extremely rude when I mentioned the hotel did not live up to the standard or photos displayed online during the booking process. They wouldn't let me access the room to retrieve my personal belongings after check-in when I confirmed I was switching hotels to the Bastion Luxury for a cheaper rate where I received a Premium King room 2.5 times the size with an extremely friendly team. The fact that the front office has an extremely bad attitude to customers and refuse to assist speaks for itself. It's worth noting that one day before check-in I was refused entry into the hotel to review the premises.

Excellent historical hotel in the historic city center. Beautiful rooms with great ambiance. 2nd floor rooms overlook the main courtyard. The resteraunt inside is worth the visit by itself. Excellent food with quick service. Often hosts private events. On this note is is an excellent location for a secure and private reception.

We attended a wedding at the El Marques and the service was amazing. The rooms were stunning, clean and spacious. The food Was out of this world.

Lukewarm shower water - never hot. Intermittent internet wifi, connected but not provisioned for workable level of service. Losing power frequently overnight turns air-conditioning off, so you wake up in a pool of your own sweat. And above all, the "Dracula" turn-down night maid, never showing-up before 9 1/2 PM, unlocking and opening the room door suddenly with her master key while you're in bed. A very odd place being over-staffed, all while certainly under serviced! Enough said..

PESIMO, este hotel es un atraco. Sus precios no reflejan nada de lo que ofrecen, los cuartos en muy MAL estado, nunca habian toallas en los cuartos (las que habían estaban rotas y sucias), no habia jabon en el baño, durante los 4 dias que estuvimos tuvimos derecho a un rollo de papel higiénico y las sábanas que no cambiaban estaban llenas de huecos y manchas. Lo único que parecía ser interesante del cuarto el balcón, estaba bloqueado para que no se puediera salir
No es para nada recomendado, recomiendo ahorrarse la experiencia y la estafa.
