Pretty good. Emigration could be a lit friendlier. They were very rude and ignorant. I was born in this country its a shame.

Quick service, Crepes & Wafles is a great option to have breakfast or lunch. Try the Covarachia Soup, and the Marroqui Salad!

It's a big airport. I have no problems with the food and refreshment. Overall, the facilities are great.

We had saved all our receipts for all our purchases made in Colombia with the expectations of being able to claim the taxes from the DIAN at the airport. When we arrived at the DIAN we were informed that we could not claim taxes since we had dual citizenship. Thanks! Another win for us.. NOT!, Our American friends also wanted to claim the taxes from their purchases, and here’s the catch. The DIAN is conveniently located just before security where of course, by the time you’ve reached that point you’ve obviously checked in your luggage. One of the conditions to get the taxes back is to show all the merchandize as well as the receipts so they can review your purchases matching receipts with the purchased items. Who on earth is going to know that!!!! It feels like a total set up!!! I would be interested to know how many people actually get to claim their taxes and be reimbursed the 20% tax rate they’ve been paying while visiting. We had no chance. Though next time we know to walk past check in toward security with our purchases separated and ready for review, then walk back again to check in then back to security. Got it. And to demonstrate the value in this some of us were expecting like $200 back. It was quite a loss.

Going through immigration had it’s moments too. It took twenty minutes for us to be processed. Forget the lines, I’m not even complaining about the lines, that is expected. But here’s a good one, the agent attending our friends was snacking on the job!!!! SNACKING!!!!!! Popping food in her mouth while processing paperwork, passports, and people!!!!!

It's not a small airport. Most people don't speak a lot of English. But airlines staff can help most of the time. I used to make international connections that was a pain. Then I decided to avoid this airport for international connection.

I used this today for domestic travel. It's alright. Only security is not the same as in the US. They have their own rules. Got my small cuticle trimmer took away and it was allowed in US.

Rude custom officials and police here. They dislike Northern Americans. I remembered I was asked what type of passport I had and I said American and the police guy stared at me like yeah yeah!!! And then after showing my son's American passport the stupid man asked me for his Colombian passport, I said he is Northern American! It seems like it bothers them we are Americans. They are not professional because I'm sure he read on the passport my son's birth place is United States. Also the Colombian jewelry stores lady's are sooo rude. I wanted to buy a bracelet and I asked for a certain style and she barely responded to me and did not even look at me nor made eye contact. They are so rude to foreigners. She was so stupid because I would of have purchase more than one bracelets. I felt mistreated because I'm a high end lady, and very presentable and fine

I had to do a 50 min line in immigration and my American friend that came with me had to endure it for over two hours. They only had 5 immigration officers for nationals and 4 for the foreigners. They need to find a better company to operate those services. The lines were ridiculous and we got so angry and frustrated. It just made our start in Colombia sour.

I'm pretty happy with the airport, still not big as others but on going to be more affordable, a little expensive in some regular shops, that's why I prefer to be in the know restaurants, lack of waiting places comfortableness, some rude guys in the belt scanning, and the police bother some passengers before the immigration area.
Clean, safe, good access to the airport, besides some foreign people who believe that the "Americans" are only from USA and so they use to be a rude behavor with the local people, when from North to South of the American continent we are Americans and I'm so proud to be COLOMBIAN

    Very rude customs official.
I also dealt with helpful employees.
Connecting to a domestic flight was chaotic- no signs, a dark hallway to a shuttle, and we had to wait in line for an employee to tell us what gate our flight was leaving from. Throughout the airport there are few signs, only verbal directions to find your way.
On the return, even though we were already checked in with boarding passes it took over 2 hours to get transported around and through all the lines.
The upstairs food court is hot and stuffy, no air conditioning there.
The WiFi is poor to none.
I hope this airport doesn't turn away too many tourists from beautiful Colombia.
