Small airport without modern ramps for boarding. Good free wifi. A few stores for last minute purchases for those who are leaving. Clean bathrooms.

It is a newer looking airport and is well maintained. The landscaping around the gates is very nice. They also move you through fairly quickly. That is the good. The bad is that the wait to get to your bags is exceedingly long. The duty free and other shops have poor selections. The prices in duty free and the other shops is expensive even by airport standards. There is WiFi in the gate areas but not out in the main areas of the airport. Make sure you eat before you arrive if flying internationally. There is a bar and a kiosk with "food." It does not look appetizing and will offer little to nothing in the way of anything but carbs and calories.

Small airport but we moved through very quickly. For VAT look for DIAN office next to the entry to gate 9. The frosted glass lettering can make it hard to spot and it is behind other kiosks. Charging station at Gates 9-14 wouldn't take a standard iPhone charger as they were too loose.

I love this airport. it is very small so you couldnt take much time to pass it. If you have any card to enter Avianca lounge, you can sit in lounge and look at all of boarding gates. you neednt waste any time. You can go downstair when the last passenger finish board. very convienice.

Just flew back home..luggage had a lock. It was popped open and zipper broken and my stuff rummaged thru. I fkn hate Cartagena and how dirty it is. Nothing like the rest of Colombia. Will never go to this nasty hot part ever again. If anybody in the airport reads this..shame for making yourselves look petty.

Small airport. Getting through security is a breeze (5 min). Arrived 2 hr before my flight in case I needed assistance, not required. Airport security people are friendly, happy and smiling just like the TSA staffers (not). With executive longe access, I can't comment on prices for food and drinks.

It's has a good size for the city, easy to walk around and good food options. Gets only two stars because there are no fingers to get in the planes and the Air Conditioning was broken.

Small airport with a few carriers. Even with it's small size there are plenty of people moving through the terminal. There are taxis (yellow and black exteriors) out front for transportation to/from the city. Make sure to go to the taxi stand and talk to the staff behind the glass, they will set a price for your trip.

The airport has a few expensive (surprise!) places to eat once you get inside. Customs, immigration and security are pretty low key and we didn't have any issue getting through in a matter of minutes. However some of the staff for the airlines are fairly unprofessional and some are incompetent. Have patience if you run into these folks, there are people who know what they are doing, you just need to connect with them if you have issues while attempting to fly. Free wifi in the terminal.
