Coffee is delicious and the baristas have plenty of suggestions for what to try. We stopped here under the advisement of some coffee snob friends and were not disappointed. There are bags of coffee available for purchase and we bought several for friends and family (~$14USD/bag)
I ordered latte frio in a hot hot hot day. I expected the coffee will be at least cold even not freezing cold, but it was warm. Disappointed. It didn’t worth for the price! And the taste was just OK nothing special. No WiFi. I also saw the male staff took pictures of a male customer on the sneak while I sat by the door and drank my warm latte.
Very Fresh coffee and also at a good price for being in the Historic Centre. There is strong wifi aswell if you need to do anything on the internet.
I heard both servers from upstairs talking, they had very good English for anyone that came in and were very knowledgeable about different types of coffee!
Delectable coffee. Siphon is very cool and worth trying if you haven't, but not necessarily worth the money regularly.
Coffee is really good. I will say this: the baristas could be a bit friendlier. I had a few questions and they seemed to just not care or be happy. The only one who was helpful was the young man at the entrance greeting. I’m giving this 4 stars because the coffee speaks for itself, but service definitely needs some attention.
best place to buy coffee beans.
small colombian producer. I brought some coffee back for a Colombian friend and he absolutely loved it
Nice place, good coffee (espress & capuccino), good "cheese salty pastry"
A bit expensive, brownie was not really good, cold AC
It started off well enough with a very knowledgeable bilingual cashier but that is where it ended. We ordered two siphon coffees a piece of carrot cake and a croissant. We received the coffee but not the cream and sugar we had requested. We received the cake but not the croissant. It took asking 3x for all 3 to get the sugar. Another 2x to get the cream and at the end (meaning done with coffee) a very hot to the touch but cold inside croissant. #epiccafefail too bad. Walked a ways to get here passing several other cafes.
A very cozy coffee shop with excellent coffee. You can have your coffee brewed in any number of ways (no aeropress though). The service is awesome even when the place is slammed.
Definitely recommended
The coffee is beyond excellent. Maybe a bit reduced in size but cozy. Freshly ground coffee from the coffee zone is available and somewhat pricey.
Another good coffee shop, it has beautiful decoration as well. You can also buy coffee to take home.
The coffee is definitely among the best I had in Colombia. They do all kinds of brewing methods to give you different flavors of the one coffee bean they use and sell. They do use the same roast for espresso and filter methods. I haven't tried the espresso, but the dripper and chemex brews were really smooth. The carrot cake is amazing too! The downside is that they only have 500g packs of beans to buy. I like to buy different types to bring home.
Excellent coffee. It is extraordinarily hard to get good coffee in Cartagena, I guess because all the good stuff gets exported. But the coffee here, from a particular estate, is very good. Plus, good pastries, especially the yogurt muffin.
Had a nice cappuccino here. It was a little bit weak. And this was the most expensive cappuccino I've had in Colombia (COP$7,000). I probably wouldn't go back.
Best coffee (beans) ever, like in the world, and of all times! LOL.. I did not know what they mean by.. "Colombian Coffee is the best in the world." This place proved it. Also it was nice to see a massive coffee bean bag exported to Korea (my country). Korea is having a coffee addiction frenzy right now, and it only makes sense to import coffee from the very best! Shipping to the U.S. costs too much, like $100. I think it is because of EMS flight 2-3 day shipping. That guarantees the flavor of coffee (I get it) but it's too expensive. Offering customers an option to pay for a less expensive option would be really appreciated. I would even consider up to $50 for shipping because this coffee is damn good, which I would normally consider exorbitant. Try espresso!!! They used medium coffee beans for espresso, but sometimes coffee beans taste better than espresso beans which are usually darker and a bit bitter.
