  万佛塔位于焦山顶峰，塔体高42米，海拔70．4米，建筑面积583平方米。万佛塔是一座明清式具有江南风格的仿古塔。七级八面，上有天宫，下有地宫。塔内设两套楼梯上下分流，外有栏杆相倚。每层回廊四通，八面有景，凭栏远眺，江天景色，尽收眼底。夜间天空中放射出八束光柱，为过往船人指引迷津。
