Amazing first class hotel in the center of town. Service was top notch, food and bars are great. The rooms are well.appointed with large bathrooms, sitting area, comfy beds, and great views albeit hazy of downtown chengdu. Not sure about the bad reviews as this is the nicest hotel in Chengdu and rivals it's similar hotels worldwide.

At first I was confused as the reception was actually not located at the ground level where you entered. I got in quite late at night and there was no one around to tell me I needed to go up to the 25th floor to check-in. I worked it out eventually and despite the awkward first impression, I love this hotel. My room was phenomenal! I wish I had more time to enjoy the hotel that's how great it is, 3 nights here was like having my own home away from him (if my home was a luxury resort). Just look at the photos and you will understand what I mean!

Service is amazing!! The previous reviews regarding service just don't seem true. Everyone went out of their way to make my stay exceptional, they also decorated my kid's room with balloons and provided cookies and candy to welcome them. Truly amazing!

I was concerned with all the negative reviews prior to check in. However, after 4 nights at the hotel, I am glad to say the stay was excellent. Being a Platinum Elite, I can speak based on experience that the hotel is definitely first class. Club Lounge manager Dennis made our family felt extra welcome, to the point that my boys asked the Lounge attendant to call him to say goodbye. Thanks Dennis! Hotel is very new on top of a mall/office/residence complex that is not yet completed. It will be even better when it's fully completed. This is definitely our hotel of choice when we return to Chengdu.

Enjoyed a lovely stay here with my family. Luxurious and large rooms are met by impeccable service. Our party of twelve included my parents in their 80s, as well as my two preschool-aged children. We all had a great time as guests at The Ritz-Carlton Chengdu. The service was top notch, especially by the Club Level team. Many thanks to Dennis Huang, the Club Level manager for making our stay so comfortable and enjoyable.

The worst manner for a competition. When he lost the 1st round, he wasn't cool enough to deal with the fact that his staffs lost. So PATHETIC. And when you, CONRAD, agreed to have a competition at your kitchen, you should have been ready to give a fair circumstance to the opponent. It shows your level which is the lowest and now I can guess how you achieve that position you have now.

Sorry for this review without visiting. But in the Korea TV show, restaurant showed the worst attitude. Not only there manner but also on there skills. They use fake kaviar and dropped and sweeped eggs. And they dont have any red wine and mayonnaise. I think they have to seems there best with "5 stars hotel" title. They damage to there hotel and also China.
