I got to visit Chengdu on a business trip, and from start to finish the service was first class.
Only downside were some lunch items a little bit too pricey, for room service, the good side of that is that there are so many options for food at the Global Mall that shares the same space with this hotel, the whole complex is massive.
This is the best hotel i've ever been to.
Looking forward to come back sometime in the future!

I Stayed tow weeks at intercontinental Chengdu global center it was the most beautiful place you can ever stay in as business like me and my husband or as a vocation the room was simply courageous the services is 7 stars such as the service I received from Annie Lou the supervisor and Kevin Wang the manger. The hotel mangers are the most professional business people like Mr Roy Tan the resident manager who was personally welcoming us at the breakfast table making sure that we are well taking care of .
Mr Roy asked us to call him personally if we need any thing even if we need especial food so he can ask the hotel chefs to prepare it especially for us although the food was very good at all the time. Mr Roy called me couple of times to ask if every thing is ok.
Stoped by our table also Mr John Lim the hotel general manger to make sure that we are enjoying our staying in the hotel and if we need any thing. That was really above and beyond good service or as it usually called five stars but I will call this hotel seven stars
I recommend this hotel to any one will visit Chengdu and I am very sure that you can ask for Mr Roy Tan personally and he will do every thing in his power to make your staying the most pleasant experience
Thank you every one in the hotel very much for every thing and see you soon as we are planing to take intercontinental Chengdu Global Center our resident while we are in our business trips.

Located in this super structure, it requires some walking like a large resort. Good service and clean room. You can get two free tickets to the indoor water park each day you stay in the hotel too.

Starting from the beginning, the place is big. The lobby was beautiful and vast. After the quick checkin, the walk to the rooms was down a tropical pathway, it feels like a natural rainforest with the natural humidity this time of year. The elevators are extremely fast and smooth ride and I was quickly on the 9th floor. Ceilings tall and the bed and couch were very fancy. Room was extremely beautiful, clean and had so many quality items to make you comfortable. Lime flavored toothpaste was interesting to me but I enjoyed it. The shower was awesome, I felt bad that I used so much water since the shower was so high-quality. After long day at work and then riding on the subway, and it's summer time right now, that shower was like a massage.

I stayed in hotel C, it overlooked part of the Waterpark. I had tickets for the breakfast everyday which is expensive, but when you get in there you quickly realize why. So many different styles of food, and the chefs are usually hanging around and you can tell they care about the food in all aspects. My favorite was the Green Tea red bean muffins, or maybe the croissants with various fruits that were delectable. On my last day, I had to leave for the airport before I could redeem my last ticket, so they packed a bag breakfast for me, I was very thankful.

I was amazed at how big the place was, how many shops and amenities there are.. I really had no idea going in. The restaurants on the 4th floor of the mall all seem really good, although I only went to one of them. Then the sub floors have the food court style food which is good for good price. Anyway, I went for a business trip and needed the subway, so it's perfectly convenient for that, as there is a subway entrance out front of the enormous building. It was something like 40cents to ride 4 stops.

I highly suggest staying here if it's your first time in China, like it was for me. The hotel staff spoke very good English so I never felt lost, as I do not know the language. I felt there was a great taste of Chengdu within the global center, but also, a very short subway ride to other really good malls with great shops and restaurants, all along the convenient subway right in front.

Pretty large construction with marble walls throughout and up to date design. Very nice to go through different shops and food stores. This is to go place if you are around on weekends or weekdays.
