Very Tibetian Style hotel with reasonable price. About 10 mins drive from the City Center. Restaurant are great especially for the contemporary Tibetian Food.

One of the best hotels in Lhasa and definitely worth it. The oxygen lounge was a huge comfort.

This was supposed to be a 5 star hotel. Definitely not a 5 star hotel. More like a 3 star. The views of the Potala Palace aren't bad, but the St Regis has better views. The spa is so so at best, but the massage was good. Food was ok.

We specifically chose this hotel as it has an oxygen room and on site doctor which is imperative if you are travelling from sea level to lhasa and you have children. My daughter aged 12 has been fine so far but my son aged 9 came down with altitude sickness within 3 hours of arrival. That resulted in vomiting and headache. So I took him to the doctor and had his oxygen reading taken, 74 out of 100, that is sub optimum.

The hotel is nice. We took a suite with an interconnecting twin room. When we arrived the room was quite hot so we adjusted the room temperature down.

The suites are large and comfortable, the twin room suitable for my children. The view of the Polata Palace is awesome.

The staff are fantastically helpful and speak good English. Our check in process took about 5 minutes. Our suite, 334 was a 2 minute walk from the reception.

We have only been here a few hours and normally I would not make a review so quickly but the altitude sickness hitting my son, the doctor being on the ball and giving him an examination and prescribing an hour in the oxygen room made me very happy and pleased that I we are staying at this hotel.

After being here for 3 days now, we still had problems with my son and altitude sickness. But thanks to the doctor, we had a huge oxygen tank bought to the room and where instructed the following regime for my son. 1 hour of oxygen every 4 hours. This has been a saving grace for us and we have been able to visit all the sites of Lhasa.

Additionally, all the staff are very sympathetic towards my son and have really proved themselves to be excellent.
