These hotels I simply dirty. There's nothing special about these places and the prices are not very reasonable. They come off as hotels they may say three stars but truthfully there only a one star

It's a 5-star type joint, and we stayed here for 6 nights. The pricing on upscale hotel rooms in Beijing is very competitive, and to me, as a traveler, hotels aren't where you want to try to save money.
If you can get a good price on a beautiful hotel like this, it's totally worth it. That said, once you are here, you need to watch the spending in the restaurant, bar, spa etc. It can get very expensive, and the prices, as you might imagine, are no bargain. We accidentally opened a bottle of water in the room for a 60Y charge (woops, there goes $9).
These rooms are super luxurious and comfortable. The carpeting, the smell, the marble floors, the view (we were on the 10th floor overlooking the city) - it's all great.
There is bus stop out front, and the Subway (Dongsi stop) is a 10 minute walk. I would highly recommend the Prime Hotel.response / report this review -

Fantastic place to stay, very friendly staff with great food.
One of the staff at the front desk named Sunny was extra helpful, friendly guy with excellent English!

Room itself was good (except wifi was horrible) but location was far from the busy parts of Wangfujing. It was super quiet and not even any street lamps on at night. Also, our room cards had to be renewed almost every night as both would stop working. The staff were also unable to call a taxi for us and told us to hail one ourselves at the front, which we did, and subsequently got scammed by the driver. I expected them to be able to call one so that the chance of getting scammed would be less as we could trace back to the driver if the service was ordered over the phone.

Great hotel to stay at. Speak pretty good English. We stayed with a family of 4 and suited our needs well. Would return again.

Surprisingly good deal for the price. Great location, right by Wangfujing street market and the best shops in Beijing. Staff is friendly, and rooms are spacious. Caters to foreign tourists so most of the staff speak English. Wifi Internet is solid and fast, despite being behind the Chinese firewall.

Room was ok but the deposit cost more than the room!!!!! Warning flags there. Staff barely speak english. I'd probably choose somewhere else next time!

Great breakfast. Views from our room was obscured by the wings of the hotel and another building on the other side of the street, a bit disappointed considering a top floor room.

The mattress was meh, room service was very rude. The WiFi was terrible, it didn't cover the room. Apart from that they gave us a quiet room which was nice.
