Tailong Hotel was adequate. It is located right at the south end of Tienanmen Avenue. It is supposed to be non-smoking, but still there was a smell of smoke throughout the hotel. I stayed there twice at either end of a guided trip. The first time I was on the 3rd floor, north side, and the room was nicer; the second room was on the 5th floor, south side, and it was more like 2 stars.
The most disconcerting thing was the lack of assistance from the hotel staff. The hotel staff had said the concierge would assist me to get a cab to the airport. On my departure day, they suddenly said they couldn't help me because it was raining. I ended up going outside in the middle of a very wet and busy intersection to hail a cab. Boravak u ovom hotelu pružio nam je priliku da i sami napravimo šetnju po užem centru grada pa čak i u večernjim satima. Iako se nalazi na veoma prometnoj saobraćajnici hotel je veoma komforan, čist i tih.
