Location of the hotel was good, close to the subway. Room ok, but the price-quality ratio of the breakfast at the Cafe was poor for a western customer.

Recently had my 3rd stay at this hotel for business in Beijing. It's very close to the metro and within walking distance to many restaurants. I think the staff are very helpful and I haven't had problems w/ English. Breakfast buffet is good. Some rooms are dated but the 2nd tower is fully renovated and you can ask for a room over there. The lobby bar has a great happy hour special and is a tranquil place to relax after a hectic day in Beijing!

Hotel amenities are fine but dated. Whilst the location is near to a metro station, it is not on the best line location to get around places. The site is close to impossible to get taxies due to its street layout so we found this highly inconvenient as independent travellers. Unfortunately the reception and concierge services were poor so they weren’t much help. Poor service by international standards. Breakfast service was pricey and had limited selections. Would not choose to stay there again.

Rude stuff and not helpful at all. When I arrived my room was not ready and while waiting they didn't even offer me a coffee or water but I had to pay for it. The English of the stuff are terrible. They don't understand you and it's impossible to communicate even for the simplest thing! Do NOT try the evening buffet. The worst food ever and do not eat fish!

This was my third time staying at Jiangou and I will stay again in the future. Everything is nice- the room is comfortable, clean, and modern. The lobby is vibrant, and conducive to casual social and business conversations. The breakfast is excellent. The location is very convenient, and the unique building design is a refreshing highlight to return to after a busy day in Beijing. The staff are wonderful, accommodating, and helpful. My only criticism is that prior to my arrival I tried contacting the hotel three times via email (provided on the website) but did not get a response.

This was a great hotel that one of the companies we were working with set us up with. We were traveling through China for our MBA program and this hotel seemed to be perfectly situated for easy access to all of the business we were meeting with. The hotel is super close to the Yong'anli subway station which made transportation around the city a breeze. Just west of the hotel is a great Silk Street building with nearly 100 different shops ranging from custom tailored suits, to beautiful jade jewelry, to silk scarfs, to anything else that you can imagine. The hotel breakfast was phenomenal and the front desk was great a recommending local restaurants to eat at for dinner. They made us reservations and helped us get directions to the best Peking duck in Beijing.

I found this hotel by chance and I fell in love for the garden room. It was a dream: just the water and not the traffic, nature and not bricks. I want to come back soon because, for personal reasons, I couldn't swim in the swimming pool and I couldn't gym. Breakfast was great and the ambience low profile but cleaned. There are just two things I would like the hotel could improve more people speaking English and, dreams of dreams, in the garden room wall that erase or reduce noises and voices from the other rooms. The last will be hard to obtain but the first please more English for everybody in any case I will and I'm suggesting this hotel to everybody

I liked the hotel quite much. The rooms were big and the bathroom too. I must say that sometimes the bathroom stink a bit, but as I didn't spend much time in the room, I didn't make a complaint.
The breakfast was buffet and amazing. They have Asian buffet but also for Europeans/Americans in case you wouldn't like the Asian food. I enjoyed every morning different stuff.
I will def go back to it, as it was very close to the subway too, and from that station is very easy to get any of the visiting places you wanna go.response / report this review
