Temples a little above average, it is nothing too impressive and it above average expensive. It was one of the temples I would skip.
The entry fee to this temple is also RMB 30/- same as the Longhua temple. But the similarity doesn’t end there and can be seen in construction and the halls of the temple. Apart from the Jade Buddha statue there was nothing to impress me.
This venue turned out to be a waste of time for me and hence I decided not to go to any more temples of Buddha.
Beautiful, peaceful temple in the middle of the city. The jade idol invokes devotion, and is surrounded by traditional Chinese architecture, and several other idols
Very beautiful temple in middle of Shanghai city. The white jade Buddha idol is devotional. There are many other statues in the temple. Worth visiting.
Very beautiful temple in Shanghai. The large white jade Buddha is beautiful. The other Buddhas in the temple are also very beautiful. Very busy on Saturday. Worth a 30 minute visit.
great visit. lot of statues and temples in this place
I was surprised at how beautiful this temple was, especially after visiting about 20 others in the same few weeks! This temple stood out. There is a stunning contrast between the temple and industrial, skyscraper-filled backdrop, which makes for an amazing photo. Not too busy either!
Tranquility despite the mobs of tourists and worshipers. The Buddha itself is admirable but so are the many other carvings and gods. The buildings are interesting too.
A fairly small temple with beautiful buildings and prayer sections with multiple spectacular Budda's located in sanctuaries throughout the complex. Make your way up the stairs to see the gorgeous Jade Buddha.
It was amazing for the experience
Lacked the impact and culture of the many many unbelievable places around Shanghai.
I really love the place and wish to return again and again.
( From the cultural / religious point of view I am sure is of utmost importance )
This place from a tourist point of view gave little information.
I really don't mean any disrespect.
Love Shanghai
