Good and well maintained garden
Lovely park next to xiaolongbao street near the Nanxiang Metro stop (10 minute walk). 12rmb admission fee is totally worth it. Spent about 1.5 hours wandering around.
Nice, warm and friendly atmosphere
Gorgeous gardens which I stumbled across by accident, as I took a wrong turn to get to the old street. Lovely ponds, pavilions, and old bridges.
I went on a Saturday morning, and it was absolutely full of old Chinese folk playing games, dancing, and chatting. Quite an atmosphere!
Worth going here before the old street, and then have some of the area's most famous dish, Xiao Long Bao, on nearby GuYi street, which is full of restaurants that will be cheaper than most in the city.
Lovely classical garden full of lilies and water Had a chat with the locals and they r really friendly It is around 20 minutes walk from the metro station.. Next to the garden it is worth visiting the old city center and water canals and of course eat the famous dumplings
Nice garden with lots of bamboo and lotus flowers. Great escape on a hot summer day. Most of the path are paved with pebbles so make sure to wear some comfortable shoes. What the garden lacks is more descriptions of the buildings and plantation, both in Chinese and English, which would give a context for tourists to enjoy the garden more.
