  The Great Wall of China is somewhere I would recommend to everyone to visit at least once.
  
  The views are absolutely breathe taking from top and all along the way, and you will not be disappointed.
  
  I was lucky enough to see the Great Wall of China in winter when it was covered in snow as well as in summer when everything was green. Both times where just as beautiful as the other, and the climb to the top was well worth it each time.
  
  There are some souvenirs shops to have a look around if you don't feel like making the climb to top as well as a couple of places you can stop for a drink and bite to eat.
  
  The start of the wall tends to be busy as tourist gather to admire and take photos, but the further up the Wall you climb the less people you will find.

  This is or should be one of the 7 wonders of the world. It is magnificent and I would LOVE to see it one day. China is an AMAZING country. I've always respected them as an awesome culture.

  The great wall of China is a great place to visit, it offers amazing views. I recommend visiting this amazing world heritage site on weekdays between 8-12 a.m/p/m. This site is not very child-friendly as it will always be packed with people, your child could be kidnapped.
  Some places in the wall will smell like urine, I assume they do not wash the place.

  Decent hike depending on how far along you walk as there are some steep gradients. Amazing to see the wall snake up and along the mountains. Definitely visit in the morning and if you can during off-season to ensure smaller crowds.

  Not crowded at all compared to other parts of the great wall. Intermediate level elevation with stairs all along the way, though some of them very steep. Would recommend going in the early morning and not during the Golden Week, which will almost guarantee you to have the whole great wall by yourself.

  The great Wall of China must be seen at least once in a life time! Mutyan is a great place to begin with, it's not as touristic as some others places. You can get there quite easily from Beijing.

  This was definitely on my places to visit tick list, and I wasn't disappointed.
  
  We hired a guide to explain the historical aspects of the wall, which I feel was well worth it. She gave a full account of how and why the wall was there, only with giving us a full opportunity to explore and ask questions. She took us to the most picturesque parts for taking photographs.
  
  We went up on the cable car, but came down on the toboggan, which was brilliant fun.
  
  I can fully recommend visiting this location as opposed to those closer to Beijing, as it was quiet and uncrowded on the Friday we visited. We really enjoyed our visit here and are so glad to have had the opportunity to see this magnificent location.

  One of the best wonders of the world is the Great wall of China, nothing prepares you for standing on it and really understand the scale of it. The top of the wall is wide enough for 10 soldiers walking side by side and there is no end to the wall as far as you can see, it just keeps curbing around the landscape. There is really no excuse for not exploring it if you are passing through Beijing, depending on which section you select you can even take public transport out to the wall. You can also take a lift up to the wall so you can get there without walking up or down. In fact try the toboggan on the way down.

  Truly a wonder of the world. It's hard to imagine the magnificence of it without visiting the place. Truly breathtaking. The cable car to the top is another great experience. The view from the top of the great wall is something one should experience at least once in a lifetime

  Breathtaking experience! Been to many other world wonders and nothing compares to the ingenuity and marvel employed here by the ancient Chinese.
  
  As an added bonus, there's this go-kart / sled like ride that takes you back down the hill from the Wall. Emmy girlfriend and I got to see some baby mountain goats playing around while riding this. Very memorable!
