I had the most amazing trip in Lhasa. I had issues at the beginning; my flight got delayed and had alititude sickness, but Lobsang, the guide that I traveled with helped me through all these with kindness. He knows a lot, so he definitely gave us all the details of Tibetan culture, history, and religion. My group had so many questions and he answered with more information than we asked for. Also, the two drivers, one we traveled with and one who picked up and dropped me off at the airport, were super nice. (I am sorry that I do not remember their names) Overall, everyone was nice and knowledgeable. I would have regretted if I did not travel to Lhada and meet them. Definitely one of the best trips I had.

We had a 4-weeks self organized tour in China, including a short stay in Tibet. We decided to book a 5 day private tour with Great Tibet Travel, and it was a very good choice!
All was perfect: the guide, the driver, the hotel arrangement, and especially the tour organization itself. We visited the most interesting monasteries and buildings near Lhasa and, on the last day, the Ganden and Drak Yerpa monasteries. This last was our preferred visit.
We would especially thank our guide Lobsang: he is well prepared and gave us a lot of information not only about the visited places, but also about culture and religion of Tibet.
I strongly suggest Great Tibet Tour and especially this 5 days tour, which is suitable for families; our children, 11 and 13 years old, appreciated this tour a lot!

Our family of 4 had a great 9 day trip including trekking and Namtso Lake. Lobsang, our guide, was fun, knowledgable and very helpful. The cook during the trek was very good too.

Everything was exactly like planed. The guide & the driver were excellent in every level.
The pick of the trip was the three days Kailash Kora which was hard but very unique.
My private experience on this was that one of the Tibetian provided me with butter tea and sour tea and took out of me all the snow i was covered with. I was so greatfull.
I will surly recommend this tour to any one who wants to experience Tibet in an excellent team.

Went with a chill guide called Thasi, he had a good grasp on what he was doing since he's been doing it for the last 10 years.
We went on the 8 days tour, which is think was more than enough without feeling rushed. A lot of the time was spent on transportation but the sceneries in the bus is breathtaking.

For anyone complementing going: if monasteries and nature are your jam then for sure but do remember that the altitude is way higher than most places, so do your homework on altitude sickness because you'll get it for sure.
