Here you get to meet foreigners from different cultures worldwide. This is a cultural "HOTPOT". HOWEVER, let me quickly say if you don't go out to mix with the local Chinese people your Chinese language skills will develop at as snail's pace.

    I loved this place.

This university is located near the downtown area called WudaoKou where you will find lots of restaurants, clubs, bars and shopping malls. You will also find Pakistani, Indian, Turkish and other countries restaurants here.

Teachers are quite good. Too many foreigners, so most students don't really develop relationships with Chinese people. If you come here, prepare for endless frustration with the 911 International Student Office. If you have a 孔子学院奖学金 and want to live off campus, don't expect to receive the accommodation stipend that was promised you.

This place is loaded with students from around the world: Korea, China, Japan, France, Germany, Italy, Brazil, Australia, and of course, The United States of America. I had a wonderful experience here and genuinely felt as though I was able to understand living life in a different country where English is hardly known by anyone there. It was probably the best experience of my life, and I hope to go back and study here again. The teachers are passionate about their teaching and try to make themselves available via their telephones, WeChat, or email. The campus is quite nice, and has a variety of different trees I've never seen before, plus a couple of white resident cats that I nicknamed "my brothers" (I'm white, and nicknamed baimao). The tuition is definitely affordable, and the library on campus has numerous books that can really help someone trying to understand how natives speak. I hope this helps anyone interested in studying here! :)
