Such a cool zoo. It is open on holidays and weekends. You can only pay cash at the entrance and the total cost I think was $4000 pesos. You need to bring local money for the entrance and the internal transportation. There are 2 ways of getting here: 1 by car (you can park at the front) or 2 by the zip line that comes from down the mountain.

The space is wonderful. Lovely to see all the families coming to the animals. There is quite a variety of animals. There is quite a bit of construction so looks like new digs in the works for some of the animals.

Fun and informative, especially about the animals, reptiles and birds of Chile. Great to see Humbolt Penguins, Chilean Flamingos and Scarlet Ibises close-up and others.

Conditions for the animals- disgraceful. Tiny spaces. The zoo is in bad condition. I honestly was disgusted at the upkeep of the zoo in general and the quality of life of those poor animals 😯😟

Bad infrastructure for the visitors and the animals. Small and dirty cages, really loud with no control of the amount of people that can go in at once. No place to sit down if you are tired and the bathrooms are a joke.
Easily one of the worst zoos in South America.
It should be shut down.

Nice zoo, lots of animals, nice funicular, impresive top view of the Andes Mountains where you can realise the big size of these mountains. Lots of food trucks with autentic local treats and souvenirs.

Murdering 2 beautiful big cats just because one suicidal maniac decides to go into their enclosure 2 die!!!! You are supposed to protect these beautiful animals not kill them. That imbecile decided he wanted to die you should have do everything to protect the lions not him. Disgraceful you should be brought to justice for doing this you are a disgrace and these beautiful animals deserved better 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

The view is stunning and the park is ok.But in general its not enough space at all for the animals. Cages are to small or the area not wide enough. How it could be on a little mountain.
