I think this is a good Hostel and has high potential to become an excellent one! The location is great, the building has a big nice common area and most of the staff is really nice and helpfull.
You would only need to renovate the kitchen and get the booking system straight. I think our case of getting the wrong room is not rare here.
Also the surf course - the USP of this hostel - is not recommandable. The trainer was more talking about how awesome he is, than surf technics. Also we didn't warm up at all which resulted in a huge back pain for me.response / report this review -

It's a hostel for the rich surfers. For its services it very expensive. It's not very clean (bathroom), the kitchen is badly equipped. The rooms are big though and you have a nice common area. The dumb policy, that after your check out you have to pay more so you can stay and use services like bathroom and kitchen I won't unterstand.

It is a really comfy and homey place, people who run it are very nice. It has a good breakfast with real coffee. Moreover it is downtown, close to Calle 21 de mayo.
