  ABJ is a clean airport. Well connected to many cities in the region and to Europe and the Middle-East. Shopping and restaurants available both landside and airside. The place feels safe and is non-smoking although a small smoking lounge is available before boarding at the departure gates level. Airport staff is pleasant and efficient but the small size of the immigration facilities mean long waiting lines especially when large planes such as the Air France A380 lands. Overall a good experience, especially if you know how to negociate your taxi fare to the city.
  If you have some spare time, don't miss the small restaurants (maquis) on the left hand-side of the airport where you can join airport/airline staff for some food and cheap beer.
