One of the most organized airports in West Africa.. Although the airport is relatively small, staff/officers are very efficient.. These is free WiFi for 30 minutes once you arrive, additional units can be purchased from the Orange desk right after duty free.. There is also a lounge which has limited array of food and beverages for a $50fee Duty Free also offers a good selection of perfumes, chocolates etc..There is also a play barn towards gate 9 for toddlers

The airport is well position and within close range of the Onomo hotel and the new Radisson Blu hotel. Burger King restaurant available in the arrival waiting area. Wheelchair accessible entrances and exits.
The airline offices are well marked. Also, security is at an all time high.response / report this review -

Nice enough airport, businrss lounge great, ample offering of food and drinks in airport while you wait, process from start to finish relatively simple.
BUT I have one big issue every single time I pass through here at some point, customs prior to passport control would ask if you have any local currency on you, if you say yes, like I did the first time, I was taken to a back room and pointed to poster on wall that local currency may not leave country I said I was going to spend it at duty free and for buying food in restaurant this was not accepted and I had to go back downstairs and drop currency in some box I found for donations, else I would have had to throw away currency in dustbin or give it to somebody I suppose
The Irony is that when you pay with hard currency at duty free or at restaurants, and even at lounge you will get back local currency, this makes no sense at all in fact to me the whole currency issue felt like a harrasment, type of shakedown management of airport really needs to look at this
The rest of airport experience is relatively good, and people/staff generally friendly the security final check process can be a bit frustrating and slow sometimes, especially when it gets busy, but this in many ways is now part of our travel experiences across the world most times you have to remove your belt here and sometimes your shoes, for people with jewelry I suggest you remove and place in your bag, as this will save you a lot of frustration
Arrivals also relatively painless, even if you need to get visa at airport, altough it can be very slow, and not allways perhaps as friendly as you would expect, bags take extremely long to get to bagfage collection point so no need to rush through passport control if you have bags, so chill a bit if line is long
Transit passengers process also relatively okay, except that some destinations, such as South Africa you will be taken to bottom arwa to check in again, as if you just arrived at airport, and therefore you will go through security and passport control again, including the customs part

A beautiful airport but is negated by the staff harassing visitors and business while departure. Harassing executives and visitors while departing for carrying small amount of foreign currency or local currency which is left over with you, has become a norm here and this is really frustrating. Wish they could be more considerate and not view all visitors as someone looting their country

Its small airport with essential services. You get 30 minutes free WiFi. There is one space for smoking near the gate number 1. If you ask the staff at the bathroom they will take you there and will ask you for small change..

Its not such a big airportbut its very clean and organized. The staff need to learn more English. Be careful with the red taxis. They charged us way more than they should. So take haggling with them seriously.

Although the airport has gone through recent renovations the airport officials need to do a lot more to come to level to world standards. Many false policies have been taken to ensure that the airport respects international standards but like all other African institutions so much corruption and wrong initiatives have led to no where. You are advice that the airport's services are very expensive apart from the drugstore.

Prime airport in Abidjan, the capital of Cote D'Ivoire. Recently the airport went through a renovation. I had the opportunity to travel couple of time through this airport. Regular carriers of Turkish, Emirates, Ethopian air, Air maroc and Air France pass this airport by. The staffs of airport are not equally efficient in English side by side of French. That creates a lot of trouble for the anglophone passengers.
