Huge airport, very organized and clean, lots of places to sit by gates. Lots of good food and cafes, only problem is that they are expensive. Had a 7 hr layover here in July and everything was in a close and convenient place, but they made us enter Switzerland through customs and then leave again through security on the way to Croatia during the layover (which was strange?). All staff that we talked to spoke English and gate staff were nice as well. Great experience and will fly through Zurich again.

It is a beautiful airport, small and very convenient, very elegant and fancy as well.
You can sip Champagne with your Oyster and Truffle Pralines..
The price for that is very high, if you go outside to eat, everything is a bit more expensive too, even a normal plate in the fast food areas.
For normal travelers, coffee and Sandwiches will become a luxury items .
Well at least, everything works fast and easy in this airport..

Great airport. Big but easy to find your way in. Lots of places to shop, eat or just to get drink or coffee. Clean and well organized. Funny "subway" ride with all the sounds of nature.

An excellent experience for departing passengers. The airport is clean, easy to navigate and efficient. Plenty of seating and very good (but expensive) food offerings. Lounges are of a high standard. For arrivals, immigration can be slow, especially on Friday and Sunday evenings. Public transport connections are outstanding.

Huge airport. Very well organized and clean and very easy for you to find your way around. Quite busy any time of the day. Lovely shopping areas and tons of eating places. Specially in p3 level. Plenty of parking. Drop off pickup zone also there

They are introducing new automated passport control and it's a standard project failure. The IT guy stands there praying that it works, complaining if people do not understand how to place the passport exactly or telling people that have the latest EU passport in credit card size that it's not a passport. Disgraceful, why not use a system that has already been developed? Or work on something that truly adds value to the traveller like the US Preclearance system?

Pretty busy airport but much less busy than it was some 10+ years ago. These days it's totally disorganized, info system is not up to the today's standards, land personnel is mostly clueless, not helpful at all. When you transfer you'd most likely walk a mile or so (literally) after you already walked 10+ minutes just to find the tram. My best advice: avoid, if you can.

A large airport, very neat and easy to find your way around. It's about the only airport I have been to that when you disembark you take a train to the next terminal. Lots of shops. I particularly like the display of the chocolate machine and how it operates. The lounge is very impressive with a good variety of foods.

Airport staff at custom was nice, we asked for a stamp as we had a UK passport, the gentleman kindly gave us one. Toilet was clean, easy to navigate through. Observation terrace not worth going unless you're a fan of planes. What you see behind glass you see on the terrace. 5chf to get in for adults.

Very nice an clean. Toilets were clean. We had to stay overnight and there are plugs at almost every bench. Internet connection was good. There is even a kids playground also which is nice. Staff was really efficient at guiding late transfers to their flights.

Situated at zone 111, you can take a tram(10) or Train to Airport if you are traveling from Zurich. Direct train also available from Baden. A few hotels has their shuttle to Airport. You have 3 check in Areas. I usually go by Emirates or Ethihad which is in check in Areas 2. Locate your check-in atea or look for information desk. International flights mostly depart from terminal E . You have to take a train to go over there. It is strongly advised to eat drink before you proceed for Terminal E as you have no options over there. For restroom at Terminal E you have to take stairs and go up by a level or two

This is simply a great airport. The train between the terminals just works perfectly, the toilets are super clean. It's not too cramped with stupid stores, hallways are wide and there are plenty of light, making for a pleasant place. Food is of course expensive. It's a great choice for transfer flights.

A very clean and beautifully modern airport, it was visually appealing got a little confused as to where to go once leaving the arrival hall, we had to go to another area to catch our connecting flight, we asked a staff member and were soon heading down stair to catch the light train to the other terminal. The trains run on either side of the track and will come down full and you just have to jump on the train, it was a bit of a thrill after a long flight. The chairs were comfortable at the terminal the food and beverage prices were expensive their.

It's a fine airport in some ways, but my colleagues and I had a very frustrating experience with international departures from Zürich Airport. They don't put the flight departure gate on the monitor until 45 minutes before the flight boards, apparently to keep people in the duty free area for as long as possible. Once they finally give the departure gate number, it's almost too late to board because there is a huge line to a passport control area (or two, if you go to the US) that they don't list on the signs. This line snakes out of passport control, up escalators, and through the duty free area. Several of us nearly missed our flights because of this. At passport control, the rude agents mostly chatted amongst themselves and moved slowly despite the huge line behind them, and then there weren't enough train cars to transport us. Very stressful experience, and all to keep people in duty free for as long as possible. Be warned!

One of the best and the cleanest airports I have ever been. Kind and polite ground staff. Well organized procedures from the customs until the boarding gates. Pricey shops.
