Erst einmal lange in der Schlange stehen, dann zahlt man für ein Ticket 100 Franken für eine hin und Rückfahrt zum Glacier Paradies. Der Ausblick über die Landschaft ist Traumhaft. Unterm Strich finde ich die Bergbahn viel zu teuer.

Great ski resort, offers a huge ski area. a lot of different exiting and mostly challenging terrain and pistes. Amazing big snowpark with something fun for everyone. Generally amazing snow conditions. Not really any lines. The pistes are groomed/ maintained very well. Good quality skiing over all. And lots of amazing mountain restaurants to experience. Also worth mentioning is that this ski resort offers skiing all year a round offering one of the best snowparks in the world during the summer season. And the snow conditions are always good on the glacier even if there is no fresh snow since months and every other ski resort is closed cause of low/ no snow year Zermatt still offers good skiing

Capacity planning of Zermattbahnen - total desaster.
Zu wenige und uralte Wagen zu Beginn der Skiferien !!
Anschluss an den Zug von Zürich mit 40 Minuten Wartezeit in Visp.
Total überfüllter Zug, so dass Passagiere stehen mussten - so wars damals in den 90ern bei den Zermattbahnen üblich.
Damals war das Personal auch noch unfreundlich.
Zugbegleiter heute top!!! Great people!

Incredible ski resort. Very vast. You can ski over to Italy on a nice day and enjoy endless long groomed runs.
