Not beginners friendly!
The lake and mountains around are jus gorgeous, but windsurfing of the lake is really hard. First of all, the wind in such area is unpredictable and changes dramatically in short periods of time. Secondly, the windsurfing school has a tiny shore from where you are supposed to start (you can see in the first picture), all the rest of the shore - are privat houses with boats anchored next to them. Once the wind brings you one of these houses/boats, your chances to get out are low.
The rent of a windsurf for 1 hour is 45 CHF. If you are blown away by wind and can’t return back to the starting point, you will be boated back, that costs additional 20 CHF.
There’s a little bar on site which sells some little snacks and beers.response / report this review -

Super unfriendly "rescue boat driver", decides when he wants to come get you whether you need it or not, charges a fee without notice. Too bad there isn't really another place to go.

Great place to start learning windsurfing. The rental is quite affordable. They propose also a rescue service for a fair price

My favourite Windsurfing spot in Switzerland! Rent is awesome. I used to have my own equipment before moving to Switzerland, but no longer need it, since everything can be found on the spot with the help of friendly personnel.

If you like windsurfing, then you'll like this spot. Facilities are OK. Free WiFi. Manager is a bit grumpy.

- payable with visa and ec, chf and eur
Minus:
- very unfriendly owner
- tricky to park caravan, since it is downhill, narrow and gras (once it rained, it is very slippy)
- shower is not included
