We were in Lausanne looking for the Swedish Kanken classic backpack that holds our macbook pro. No Luck. Kanken's site suggested we try Transa Travel in Zurich's Sihlpost district by the station.

This place is grösse, so much stuff! They had it exactly!!!
Super helpful staff and friendly check out. I live in California and this place's vibe reminds me of a Patagonia store. And that's a high compliment.

It is THE sport and outdoor place in Zurich! Huge space filled with everything you might need. Enough staff to please everyone, very professional and friendly. Toilets as well as kids entertainment (climbing, sliding, books, rest area) available free of charge.

love the store, you can find everything there. Stuff is friendly and helpful. Even when some of them do not speak good English still are putting a lot of effort to explain and help with questions. really appreciate this effort and support.

I went there to buy my first of hiking boots. The staff were very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly, and did their best to find a pair of boots that are suitable for me. The shop was also equipped for me to test how the boots felt on a 'realistic' hiking surface. I'd gladly return for my future outdoor needs.

only asholes are working there.
I was bying pedal cleats (pedallplatten) for shimano pedals and so called "consaltant" sold me one from "Look" (c) that is simply not compatible with shimano pedals. I must add that I showed him for example the old one, compatible but worn out. And price of course 25 chf for something you can easily buy in online store for 10-12 chf

Great place, so much cool things especially to get a person who loves adventure. They care the top brands in Europe. The minus a star is I spent 480 and needed help but no one was there to help me.

Excellent outdoor equipment shop. Slide for kids. Indoor climbing wall. Staff really helpful and knowledgeable, most speak English. Come by transport as limited parking available.
