Lovely compact football stadium. Excellent view of the whole pitch from the away section. Really enjoyed watching Switzerland vs NI playoff, able to generate a fantastic atmosphere.

I was there for the Switzerland v Northern Ireland match. It was a great experience in a great stadium. Although I was sitting amongst the Swiss fans, there weren't any problems and we all got on well. The stadium is very impressive and the atmosphere was incredible. #GAWA

One of great stadium in Europe; good facilities and design. Unfortunately, it's quite difficult to reach anf leave on some big match days because tram station next to stadium would be closed.

What you will see in St. Jakob-Park is plenty of loyal and passionate local fans who have made a name for themselves not just in Switzerland but abroad as well for their great banner displays and pyro parties from the stands. And if you are lucky you might just also see tennis star, and Basel native, Roger Federer, officially FC Basel’s most famous fan!

Very nice location but not the nicest stadium. Sort of odd shaped. Also, there were columns blocking many seats, but I guess that is expected from any older stadium.

Very comfortable and easy access to this location. Secured indoor parking. Public transportation accessibility. Basel FC near by Championships League and other European futball games are played here.
