It was my third visit to Andreas Caminada's Schloss Schauenstein restaurant last Saturday. I have never been disappointed with the service or the food. It was also a pleasure seeing the familiar faces after the relaxation of COVID-19 measures because my last visit was the weekend just before the restaurant closed and Switzerland went into a lockdown.
One of the nicest things is to have Andreas greet patrons before and after the meal.
My friend and I had wines by the glass which isn't always the most economical however the Swiss wines we were served were exceptional.
The tasting menu was also a perfect blend of flavours and textures. Finally the portion sizing was excellent because you leave the restaurant feeling satisfied and not stuffed.response / report this review -

Best experience!! Totally recommended for anyone who wants to have a special dinner! Love staying at the castle as well. Want to come back with my parents some time :)
